  7. Artworks is a graphical database manager using natural language to formulate
  8. search requests.  Both high speed scanners and cameras are supported.
  9. Documents can be scanned into "books" and then printed from any viewing
  10. station.  Using the industry standard JPEG compression algorithm, color images
  11. can be stored at 30:1 compression ratio to provide substantial disk space
  12. savings.
  13. To find one or more images, the enduser formulates a search request using
  14. natural language.  The search engine generates SQC to access the ORACLE
  15. database.  Results are presented via a spreadsheet or an image thumbnail
  16. gallery.
  17. Organizing the information with graphical objects like folders, file cabinets
  18. and books reduces program learning and making the program fun and exciting to
  19. use.
